Wok! You Want has been the best Chinese food I’ve had in Avondale in a long time! It’s super good & the flavor is amazing! 10/10 recommend.

I used to go to China Fast Wok south on California for my Chinese fixing, but Wok! You Want blows the old neighborhood Chinese joints out of the water. I was seduced by the picture of the Hong Kong Steak, but it treated me properly upon delivery to my oral orifice. It was actually very tender and flavorful with a substantial amount of both meat and veggies in the box. The boxes - by the way - are excellent food containers. Who would’ve known that salt and pepper pork was the greatest Chinese dish out there? I didn’t until I tried what they’ve got here. The breading is light and salty and the peppers had a wonderful flavor and bite. I took the leftovers in the morning and made some of the best fried rice I’d ever eaten. Salt and pepper anything is great here. And something that I find is rare at most restaurants which is found here is the noticeable orange flavor in the orange chicken. It was actually refreshing to eat. The dumplings/gyoza/potstickers are my favorite type which is the big fat doughy ones with a chunk of ground meat inside. The fried chicken as well was rightfully salty and crispy. I’ll have to edit this review if I ever come across a dish I don’t like but I doubt that day will come. I look forward to a long life for this restaurant.

Love this restaurant. The Yang chow fried rice is the best. General Tso's chicken is a must. Very clean and good vibe from the staff

Terrible. I honestly have no clue how this is given 4.5 stars. You can tell both the dumplings and egg rolls are not homemade. I love dumplings, ate the first one and threw the rest out. Panda Express has better orange chicken, and the mongolian beef dish was awful. Would not suggest, will never order again.

Get the lunch specials forsure! Huge portion with fried rice and a really good egg roll. If you’re within 3 miles of this place I can guarantee it’s worth it.

I discovered this place on my way to my daughter's ice skating lesson at McFetridge Sports Center. Ordered the typical chop suey stuff like fried rice, lo mein and pepper beef. When my order came, I was shocked. I ordered for 3 but it was enough to feed 5. The quality was surprising too. My kids said it was the best Chinese food they had and ate more than usual. We had an amazing lunch I'm definitely going back!

The absolute best wontons I've ever had in wonton soup. Everything else was delicious too and the workers were so friendly.
