The Flint Children's museum is a fun safe spot for children 0-10. There is always something new and exciting at the museum! The outdoor "sproutside" area that opens in May is really a fantastic experience for little ones who like to play outside!

Parking was completely full. We had to park across the street (around the corner) in the school parking lot and walk. I'm told its not normally that busy but it was a free day so it was packed! My kids are 8 & 10 and my niece 7. I was at first concerned it was for younger kids but they all seemed to enjoy themselves. No one complained about being board and were all sad to leave at closing time! The outdoor area was awesome. Plenty to do and the water pump had them occupied for over an hour! Probably would've been longer but it was closing time. In doors they spent most of their time pretending to be postmen delivering mail. There was a rock climbing wall, dress up area, puppet show area, grocery store, play house, fire truck, etc. More than enough room for all the kids to play and enjoy themselves. Definitely worth the trip.

We took our 13 month old and she loved it! The light wall was her favorite. She was fascinated and loves to take things apart so she had great fun. She also loved the music room. The tubes in the room allow you to speak to someone in another room via the other end of the tube. Her dad's voice was coming from the air in the reading carriage!

I brought some of my son’s toys to donate to a place that was so valuable in his development as a child- The Flint Children’s Museum. We were so lucky to have the Children’s Museum close to our home to go for adventures and to celebrate birthday parties, and meet our homeschool group and friends. I know other children will love this toy as much as he did, and that is a good thing. It was nice to talk to employees that have been there since my son was little, and reminiscence.

Excellent setup for kids to play to learn and to just be a kid. This is a wonderful place! We spent the whole day there my granddaughter got to go shopping in a grocery store grandson made pizza in the pizza house they rode the Fire Engine they even pretended they had a helicopter ride! I highly recommend this place there is one in Flint and one in Burton.

My son went here for a field trip. I love the mix of learning and play. The giant lite bright, rock climbing wall, and sand table were his favorites. He can't wait to go back.

Not so much a Museum as a huge children's playground. Our kid had a great time here and didn't want to leave at all. Definitely worth the visit
