I called to get an estimate on having a new awning installed at my home. I was given a date and time that the estimator would be out. On the day of my appointment after waiting for over 45 minutes no one showed up. I received no calls that the estimator would be late, or that the appointment need to be rescheduled. I called the company 1 1/2 hour later to find out that the receptionist just got into the office from an emergency. I can understand emergencies however being a business owner myself someone should have called to let me know that they were running late. Due to this I would not do business with this company. Responsibility is the key in any business.
Very Satisfied with our relationship with Clanton's over the years. Most recently, we had two retractable awnings replaced on one of our properties. Excellent service, and superior workmanship. We deal with contractors and designers all the time. Clanton's is our go to no matter the turn time because they always deliver the best. Patience and understanding can go a long way. Sad to see some of these weekend warriors try to smear a long standing all American company like Clanton's.
Have been trying to reach sales and owner Dean for 2 weeks to discuss a situation but keep getting brush off. Great awnings until you have a problem... then everyone goes silent.
Called them to have them give me a quote to re-install an awning that fell during a storm. Someone called a few days later and asked if I had called because they lost some notes. I said yes and she just said ok. Two weeks later they call my number and ask for someone else’s name. I advised her that she had the wrong name and I had been waiting for a call from them to provide a quote and they seem very confused and she hung up on me. Yikes. Would definitely avoid this company.
