I’ve worked for this company as a lifeguard in college and enjoyed my time working with them every summer. They are fair, reasonable, respectful and they hire great guards. I recommend using their pool service if you can, or if you’re looking for a seasonal job apply on their website.

For many years, our neighborhood pool at Powhatan Secondary was managed on a volunteer basis. We hired and fired lifeguards, contracted with a separate individual for pump and pool maintenance, handled the chemicals and repairs ourselves as well as removing and replacing the huge cover for a 6-lane pool. We decided to hire Clearwater for the start of the 2019 summer season and the results were immediate! The lifeguards were all well trained and courteous, the water clarity improved dramatically and the general operation of the pool was much improved. Summer 2020 brought the unique challenges of COVID. We would not have been able to open our pool AT ALL, if it were not for the guidance and advice form Clearwater. They were instrumental in navigating swimming pool operating rules under Phase 2 and Phase 3 guidelines so all we had to do was communicate with our neighborhood. It only took a few day for Clearwater to get our pool ready for swimmers with furniture spaced apart, lane lines installed and an online reservation suggestion for us. It saved the summer for hundreds of our neighbors! Clearwater has done an excellent job for our neighborhood for the two years we have had them at our pool. Their expert advice will make your pool better as well.

Best pool management company that I have ever seen. Amazing staff with amazing service. All problems are answered with speedy and thorough resolution. Pools are kept in amazing condition. The lifeguards are amazing and don’t just go through the motions, they take pride in and care about what they do and make strong, lasting connections with patrons.

Terrible company! They manage our neighborhood pool, and we had fired them a couple of years ago because they were so hard to work with, but then the other company we hired was even worse so we had no choice but to go back to them. They make up rules as they go along throughout the summer, causing a lot of stress and unhappiness to the families in our neighborhood and also our board of directors. The one that was most upsetting to my family was that a few weeks into summer, they suddenly banned mermaid tails and monofins that the little girls in our neighborhood love to swim in. That stole a little piece of my daughter's childhood. They make rules in the name of safety but it's really just a way of trying to get out of work and not making their lifeguards actually watch people. I guess it's only a matter of time until they ban swimming all together and we all just have to sit there around the pool and stare at the water. Avoid this company at all costs!

I was not impressed when I saw them pulling out of running Man into on coming traffic in the on coming lane! He almost hit a silver charger head on...all this while in a school zone as kids are being taken to school. You could tell he was in a hurry as he did not even look for on coming traffic before going. Someone that irresponsible isn't gonna get business from me....
