I'm literally on hold for 2 hours and 50 minutes and counting over a minor speed camera violation that I handled at the beginning of January. Update: I was on hold for 5 hours and never spoke to anyone. Long story short, they're about to try to charge me way too much money for a speed camer violation in a vehicle in which I was not driving and all I'm trying to do is transfer liability. This is ridiculous.

ZERO STARS. This place is super trashy and everyone here is SO rude. I don't think they even have a work load. My wife and I went to pick up a check owed to us, and I was actually scared. It was really sketchy looking and the women were so rude. They don't follow any type of conventional justice system process. They really just want money. This place needs to be shut down. I don't know who would live in Garfield Heights but if you do, MOVE! Just sad, you all should be ashamed in yourselves. Someone with some authority needs to take a close look at all of the corruption going on here.

Was kept on hold too long when trying to call for info and no response to email. I came to find out that website was all you need. Just search your case and you can see the status including recent updates. Come day of court, plenty of parking. Secured building. Good sized waiting area and monitors with your name will tell you which courtroom and the time. Casual courtroom which puts you at ease. Had Judge NiCastro who appeared to be very nice and fair. Had a fair resolution to my case without having to go to trial. My impression of the process, though, is that between your word and the officer's, the officer's word wins out even though the burden of proof is supposedly on them. The rest of the building is not easy to navigate but to their credit, there are people who usher you from one place to the next. Everyone seemed pleasant. A much better experience than Parma's municipal court IMHO.

Garfield Heights Police are very rude and racist. I was pulled over by a cop by the name of K. Falzini for legally making a right hand turn at a red light, but the car in front of me whose driver was a white male made the same turn while speeding up Broadway Ave. His excuse was he didn’t see the car.. The last time I checked it was completely legal to make a right hand turn at a stop light when traffic is clear. I guess he had to make his quota by stopping the first black face he seen..

Judge Short, I do not know where you received your education, a law degree if you have one, or are required by Ohio State Law to have such credentials for your Magistrate position. However, after reading a story, regarding Nancy Segula, I would encourage you to re-read the United States Constitution, specifically Amendment 8. You sir, have overstepped your bounds with handing down such a sentence to the elderly, when she was committing a minor infraction, irregardless if it has happened before. The punishment must fit the crime and you have failed to keep your oath. Therefore, in the interest of Justice, please consider reducing her sentence, for a fair and impartial judgement. I hope you concur, sir.
