This store has everything. If you don't know what your next project is make an appointment. You'll find inspiration exploring their inventory. Also, of you've got kids, you'll save a bundle getting their supplies from the wonderful people at Upcycle.

i’ve been to upcycle twice now in search of art supplies, and i left both times with two bags stuffed full of wonderful things! the fun thing about creative reuse centers is that you never really know what you’ll find, and i was very happily surprised at some of the items i’ve found! near-full tubes of acrylic paint, large packages of jewelry findings, and some lovely knick-knacks are just some of the things that caught my eye, and most of which i ended up purchasing. the most fun can be had in the basement, where you pay a flat fee to fill a bag. i left on my second trip with a ton of vinyls that i can’t wait to paint, as well as tons of fun things for my jewelry business. but the best part about upcycle is the people. lauren and cass are the two people who helped us out on our two visits, and both of them were so kind and fun to talk to; cass even remembered us from last time and asked how our projects were coming! it was so nice to feel welcomed and cared about, especially since i moved to the cleveland area during the start of the pandemic. upcycle is a wonderful place and i’m so excited i found them after being separated from my old creative reuse center in pittsburgh. i will definitely be a regular there!

I didn't think the perfect place existed until I found this shop. As an avid crafter and a sustainability enthusiast, Upcycle combines my two loves! Plus, everything is super cheap, so I can live out all of my many artistic ambitions with zero guilt. It's a must-stop every time I find myself on the east side!
