We have lived at Hillside Terrace for a few years now and were here when the management transition took place. If you see reviews about a horrible management team, they have now been gone for about a year and a half. Property management, maintenance, everyday interactions all have seen a steep increase in quality. Courtney Brantley is very hands on. She has a very steady demeanor and really listens to you and what you have to say. When you have issues with your apt she is on top of it and has maintenance ready to act. It's a pretty quiet building for the most part with a mix of families, singles & seniors. We live in one of the 2 story three bedroom townhouse apartments, which is a hard size to find. Pricing is very reasonable for what you get. Only downside is no air conditioning. If you are looking for a place in the Rolling Hills/Torrance area I highly recommend Hillside Terrace. Great area, great schools, shopping within walking distance, and a home environment that will be fulfilling and peaceful. Also, there are a ton of hiking trails right outside the door where we run into all kinds of wildlife on a regular basis.

Melanie is just amazing!!! We are relatively new at owning multifamily properties and are so very grateful for Melanie. She has made our role as property owners transparent and worry free. She has a wealth of knowledge when it comes to managing an apartment community with the highest levels of professionalism. Melanie has an excellent working knowledge of all aspects of property management and has worked extremely well with the tenants, maintenance vendors, escrow companies, inspection companies, banks and more. She has ensured that our App Folio reports are accurate and timely. She possesses excellent communication skills both verbal and written and if that was not enough, she is kind and ALWAYS has a very positive attitude.

I have been living in the Hillside Terrace apartments. The complex is very clean and well maintained, and it is located in a great area. They have newly renovated and spacious units available. The property is managed by Courtney, and she is very professional and friendly! She always responds in a timely manner, and is always willing to help. Maintenance request are always addressed very quickly. I am really enjoying my time at Hillside Terrace, and I would definitely recommend this complex or other Coastline Equity managed properties!

I recently moved to Hillside Terrace Apartments. Before moving in, we contacted the property manager, Courtney, and she got back to us right away. She was very flexible with the time, and we were able to check out all of the available units. After the move in, she welcomed us and always greeted us with a smile. All questions were answered in a timely manner, and work orders were put in and taken care of right away. She is kind, generous, and personable. She is also professional and gets the job done. The property is maintained very well. The newly renovated unit is spacious with a huge living room and bedroom. The residents are quiet and friendly. I would definitely recommend moving here.

I've been living at Hillside Terrace for almost six months and it is a really good experience. First of all, everything inside my apartment is brand new - from floor to ceiling. New appliances, new bathroom fixtures, and new cabinets. It is spacious with lots of overhead lights and fans. On move-in day, I was welcomed with a very nice welcome gift of disinfectant spray, Glade wall plug in, disinfectant wipes, cleaners and a lot more, even including a welcome mat for outside my front door! The manager, Courtney, has always been very helpful and whenever I need anything, she's right there with help. The maintenance at Hillside is great! Walter does a really good job taking care of whatever is requested of him. There's never any delay from either Courtney or Walter. The residents at Hillside are very quiet and respectful of everyone else's property. It really is a great place to live.

Coastline Equity manages the apartment property I have lived in for the last 8 years, with Coastline taking over management of this specific location in Torrance, CA (Hillside Terrace Apartments) for the last year and a half. They are very responsive as a management company and have improved communication between management and tenants with modern on-line portals for general info, payments and maintenance requests. The on-site property manager, Ms. Courtney Brantley is very pleasant to engage with, and extremely responsive to concerns or requests.

Melanie has been extremely helpful and is always quick to resolve any issues that arise with our apartment. For example- we had an issue with our toilet and she had someone over within a few hours. She’s very professional and personable- all around awesome!
