Cole and I attended a birth together recently for a first time mama. First births can be long and trying. Keeping moms in a space of optimism and peace with the intensity of contractions is not a simple task for any doula. But Cole encouraged this environment with ease. It was clear this family had a sweet, trusting relationship with her that allowed this mom to have faith in her body, the labor process and stay confident throughout. It was evident Cole had spent good time prenatally establishing a strong relationship and prioritizing their desired birth plan. With her guidance and mom's unwavering strength, they had their beautiful home waterbirth. The friendship they made will be lasting and I look forward to the next birth I get to attend with Cole as the doula. \u003c3
