I was craving this place! Unfortunately they don't deliver to my address, so I decided to take a drive there for pick up. I placed the order online incorrectly for tomorrow. Glad that Sophia notified me. Even though they were closing she had no problem with replicating my order. Very pleasant and courteous staff.

After my first review, I said the bbg beef rib tasted funky. Well to my surprise Sofia, the owner emailed to apologize for the bad experience. She invited me to come back and make good and I did. She was there working the counter. I introduced myself and she took our exact order. This time everything came out perfect. The beef ribs were juicy and flavorful as well as the chicken. The fries were crispy and rice moist. The salad was very fresh to finish off the entree. Service is also attentive but, not rushed. It is always nice to see the owner actually work the establishment. Sofia takes pride in her business and even though it is mainly takeout eat in for an enjoyable dinner. Btw, it's byob.
I was so excited to try this place, you could smell the great smell of BBQ from outside which is why I decided to order in the first place. I ordered a garlic shrimp entree and the BBQ Portuguese steak entree. Also, I hate to complain about food and never leave bad reviews but this was so bad that I had to come on to warn someone in the future. The shrimp dish came with about 25 pieces of shrimp, that I was excited for until I started looking at the shrimp and realized that all but 5 shrimp were NOT deveined. It was very visible that these shrimp weren’t even attempted at being deveined. After picking out all the shrimp with giant dark veins in them I had 5 shrimp left. The steak was equally as bad, it looked like leftover scraps and was all fat. VERY disappointing and a huge waste of money.
Would certainly recommend eating here. Fantastic mood, delicious dishes, good customer service. Keep up the good work.
Friendly staff, food is pretty great and the local delivery is the best in Colonia. I get food here on about a monthly basis and it has never been disappointing.
