The bridge is 262 feet long and 8 stories high! If you are afraid of heights, walk slowly and hold on to the handrails on both sides. It's worth a visit! Once you cross the swinging bridge, you can follow a short trail that takes you down to the bottom of the ravine and then back up the other side.
It was fun walking across the bridge. It does swing quite a bit, specially if people are coming from the other side. hold tight! We walked all the way across and took the trail down to catch a glimpse of the bottom. Doesn't take long to go through the whole area.
Got to meet one of the board members and her husband while passing through. They are doing a great job keeping the area beautiful with a butterfly garden and nature trail. Certainly worth a stop if you are passing anywhere near the area! Make sure to sign the guest log at the bottom of the trail!
We pulled in to the bottom part and walked the trail to the bridge. It was a fun little trek. If you're not much of a hiker you can park at the top of the hill right in front of the bridge.
