Better than MediaScam!! You get better speeds at a cheaper price. I would give 5 stars I could receive a fiber optic/DSL for a more consistent speed without weather/outdoor anomaly(s). I recommend Comelec over all the providers in the Dubuque area (depending where you live).

So happy to have a competitor to Mediacom internet. So far: Flat rate pricing is very good. Speed is very good and consistent (5 gig better than 2.4 gig over my wifi). Site survey and Installation was professional and fast. Router purchase or lease (not required if you have your own) is price competitive with big box stores. Sales and billing couldn't be any easier with simple, no-nonsense terms. I hope that network reliability over time will be excellent as well - BTW they have local 24/7 support. The only thing for improvement is installation lead time - 2 weeks - is a bit too long. I'm sure that lead time will be improved over time as it benefits both Comelec and customer. But, it's worth the wait.

I just switched over from Mediacom today and I am already blown away. The speeds are SOOO much faster and the customer service alone makes the switch worth it. (Doesn’t help it is way cheaper too with no data cap). Mike was the gentlemen that installed everything. He was very professional, friendly and did a great job! He double checked my speeds before leaving and worked with me to trouble shoot the little issue I had to make sure that my service was top notch! I would recommend Comelec time and time again! Keep up the great work!
