I have been a customer of Competitive Edge Ski and Bike since they first opened their store down the road from Mt. Tom many years ago. I have always been extremely satisfied with their friendly, helpful service, and great quality skis and clothing. I bought a pair of Atomic skis last year and I absolutely love them. They always know how to fit you to the right ski for your skiing ability. Today, I bought myself a new ski outfit and I can't wait to wear it on the slopes next week. I was very happy with the help that I received picking out this new outfit and the price was great. I highly recommend that you shop at this wonderful store!

Bought my first mountain bike from them when I was a teenager and they were in Hadley. Purchased a pair of skis in my 20's. Now I bought my daughter her first bike there. Great service and they have another store in East Longmeadow with more inventory. They also sell throw back Mt Tom Ski Area t-shirts.
The young guy working upstairs in the snowboard shop was really nice. I looked at a few snowboards for my son, some had price tags, some didn’t. The board I bought had a price tag on the plastic, which he removed to put on the bindings. When he rang me up, he said he didn’t see a price and then looked it up on his phone. The price he gave me was 80 more than the price tag on the board. When I told him the plastic had a tag for 80 less, he went up and checked the trash and found the tag. I’ll give them the benefit of the doubt that they weren’t trying to overcharge me, but I’m only rating the experience as three stars due to inconsistent item marking and pricing data. In my opinion, transparency is everything in retail.
They have 4F winter jackets and pants which I love. A lot of skis, ski shoes, snowboards, and clothes in the small, two-floor store.
Super knowledgeable. Got ski boots properly fitted.
