Blake's All Natural Foods Reviews | Rating 3.1 out of 5 stars (5 reviews)

Blake's All Natural Foods is located in Concord, United States on 178 Silk Farm Rd. Blake's All Natural Foods is rated 3.1 out of 5 in the category food production in United States. Blake’s All Natural Foods is a family business in Concord, NH known for their organic & natural meals made from scratch in small batches. Blake’s started as a family farm by Great Grandma Clara Blake in 1929 raising the finest free-range, all-natural turkeys and soon became a holiday standard for thousands of New England families. In 1970 Charlie Blake sold their first pot pie from the back of his ‘67 Chevy and thus Blake’s pot pies were started. Four decades later, Charlie and his wife, Sally, were distributing pot pies throughout New England and built a new production facility at the farm. They were still using Clara’s recipes, cutting vegetables by hand and making gravy from scratch. Theirs was a thrifty, mom-and-pop business operating with a simple goal: Put healthy meals on the table for as many folks as possible. In 2006, when Chris & Amy (Charlie & Sally’s daughter) joined the business, their daughters Blake & Lucy were just three, and the young parents were thinking about the food they were putting on the table. Chris had a deep belief that food could play an important role in not only the health of Blake’s customers but also in encouraging families to sit together at mealtime. A Blake’s meal allows busy families, moms, retirees or college students to focus on their busy lives knowing they have a trusted meal in the freezer. After taking over as President, Chris had the production facility approved as a Certified Organic food facility and launched a line of organic meals for the Natural channel. Blake’s has risen to be a category leader within the Natural channel, achieving the #2 brand and having the #1 and #8 item on the frozen shelves. Today, in its 4th generation, Blake’s meals can be found in nearly 6,000 stores nationwide including Target, Whole Foods Market, Market Basket, Publix, Kroger, to name a few. Blake’s is blessed with a wonderful staff and a shared vision for positively affecting the lives of their customers through their food.

The chicken and dumplings are nasty.. really bland other than the over powering of black pepper. Very runny.. chicken and dumplings are supposed to be a little thicker. I haven't found a dumpling yet. I've had the chicken pot pie it was better than this what ever it is.

The crust was not good...this is not a good Chicken Pot Pie....in fact, maybe the worst I've ever had. BTW, there is no crust on the bottom, like most chicken pot pies.....if it was good, I would say so. My advice is not to try it.

What a disappointment this was. It was mostly mashed potatoes and then corn and very little beef with no sauce. The beef mixture was really dry. It was very dry and not tasty. I do not recommend it. And it cost over 5.00 for the small portion. Again, what a disappointment as the description sounded great. .

Hi, enjoy your pot pies especially the chicken one. Need a bit more chicken. The Shepard's Pie ok, could, improve, the potatoe part. The main question is can you cut alot more salt, out. Way to much salt in all of your food. Would appreciate it and health wise also.

The ingredients in the chicken pot pie seem natural, seem tasty and delicious, but wow, I would never be interested in trying to get an actual pie (or this one again, for that matter): there's no bottom crust! The pie would ooze all over the place! You could never cut a slice and serve it to anyone else. It's very much a one person experience. It states on the box these supposed pies are made by happy people, but apparently happy people do not know how to roll crusts to cradle their happy, natural pies in. Disappointed.
