Dr Afghan is absolutely terrible. I wanted to figure out if I had anxiety or depression, but she just ASKED ME if I had it. like I don’t know, YOU’RE THE DOCTOR? isn’t she supposed to diagnose? she talks to you for about 5 minutes, doesn’t care about you, and prescribes pills to get you off her back. she does not care about patients. I had an issue with work and had to go in on the day of my appointment. I called the office the day before (when I found out), but it was a weekend so there was no answer. I left a voicemail. Then, while I’m at work, I have four missed calls. 2 of which have very threatening voicemails saying “this is the third time I’m calling you. you have an appointment today.” It was not a great way to help ease anxiety, in fact she gave me even MORE anxiety. I called the office when I had a chance and there was no answer. please don’t go here. the service is always horrible. they do not care about you

Incompetent staff. Never got their new patient packet. Couldn’t reach them by phone. Missed appointment. Now I have to wait three months for my next appointment?! God forbid one of the staff tells they dr it’s THEIR fault. This is the state of mental health care in California.

I had been seeing Dr. Reddy about 2yrs, until he retired. He was caring, kind, compassionate. Then I was handed off to Dr. Wareham, who has none of these qualities. Her only focus seems to be medication related with no eye contact, no questions about your depression, & with the 7-8 min. visit, she is writing instructions out that are typed on your prescription. I say find someone else. I did!

I was a patient of doctor Reddy's and was very happy with him. When he retired I was referred over to Dr. Wareham. I had my first appointment and was told to schedule my next appointment for 6 weeks .At about 3 weeks I realized she hadn't written me a refill on my prescriptions. I called to make an appointment to be told there was a problem with my medical and I'd have to pay out of pocket. I left a message stating that I couldn't afford it and asked for a refill. I got a call back that she would not refill my medications and I was being dropped as a patient. I am now stuck with no medications and no doctor's appointment for 2 months. To say this doctor and the staff are completely uncaring is an understatement. Right now I'm praying I don't have a seizure before I can find a new doctor.

I called to make an appointment for my teenager who was referred by her pediatrician to address immediate issues. I was told that the next appointment was two months away. What a joke! These people clearly do not care.
