This is a fun, quick trail that can be used either as a point out and back trail or you could do one of the loop around to return back to the parking lot. The vistas are very interesting, including views of wildlife preserve areas as well as the lake. There wasn't a lot of traffic on it but I can imagine during busy peaks it could feel that way. It was a lot of fun and I would recommend it.

Fun short hiking loop! About 3 miles. Just 100 feet of elevation gain. Great views of the lake. Lots of ducks.

Lots of blowdowns from the recent windstorm, ok if you don't mind some climbing & ducking.

Started @ 10am on a Thursday & only saw 3 different groups of people. The beginning of the upper trail is a moderate incline; however, the lower trail is mostly level. Great views of wetlands. The cons: obstructed lake views from trail and road noise throughout.

Lovely hiking area. Some trails dead end, and are not well marked. Interesting boy scout platform that overlooks the lake.
