I am 74 and have some mobility problems. My wife is bedridden and has many maladies including a need for a LOT of toilet paper. Normally we have a good supply, so we didn't notice the run on toilet paper. Monday the 16th, I went on a 200 mile drive, calling ahead to see if they had toilet paper. Finally Edwards Hardware said yeah! Wow, they had my brand and the size I normally buy. For the 6 pack of Charmin, I pay 7 at Walmart and Food Lion. According to the corporate office in Chicago, they recommend 12, that is exerbenant but everything in True Value is. I bought 2 packs at 17 each pack. The State Attorney Generals office says that is price gouging during a State of Emergency. During a crisis a person shows their true character!
