Amazing customer service. New to phoenix and this will definitely be a favorite go-to place. The soup was so satisfying and prepared my a petite just right for the chicken I had. This is truly very good food. I hardly leave reviews the only other one I have ever left was for terribly customer service, but this place really excels over any other restaurant I have been to!!!
The tea was refreshingly tasty. The soup was heartwarming and delicious. The chicken was fall apart tender. The dish was hearty and more satisfying than anything i can remember. If you want something ever so slightly different, healthy, and made with a loving attention to detail. This is the cozy, pillow filled diamond in the rough you were looking for. You will walk away with a smile.
Simple and quick Moroccan food with no frills. Price is right and the food is good. Simple tajines with couscous and a nice green lentil soup, and he does the mint tea proper. The owner is from the north of Morocco and he is very nice! Happy that this place isn't too far from me, will be visiting often!
The only word I can think of to describe my experiences at Couscous Express is FANTASTIC! The owner, Abdul is very friendly, generous and attentive. I have tried both the chicken and lamb tagine as well as the hummus and pea soup which were all very flavorful! The interior has Moroccan decor and there is also an outdoor seating area. The prices are fair and the portions are very generous - you won't be leaving hungry!
First time trying Moroccan food and I'll say it was a great experience, it's no coincidence this place has such high ratings. The owner is super friendly and generous, he is very attentive and it is very obvious that he cares about the food he makes. The food is very delicious and filing and the tea is perfectly prepared absolutely recommend.
The place had the look and feel of a family-owned eatery in Fez! The hot tea was great to start, the pea soup was tasty with a slight kick, and the chicken tajine was good and plenty! Excellent service. I would object to the name "Express", because, although the food was timely, the owner was in no rush for us to turn over the table- We ended up losing track of time and was late for my next appointment!
Exceptionally delicious food with equally excellent service. Highly recommend to anyone wanting a unique and satisfying meal. Loved the warm bread with hummus, fluffy couscous and delicious stews cooked in clay pots. I'm stuffed, but it won't be long until I'm craving this food again!
