I recently used this company because his information was on my system in the house I bought almost 3 years ago. I woke up yesterday to NO water- I called -Joe an owner came to my home and to my surprise was not only able to diagnose the problem He was able to replace a worn well pump and had me up and running with water in less than 3 hours. I honestly thought the company would arrive late and say that they would need to come back another time. He even came back the next day and replaced the pressure switch and calibrated and serviced my system. I am a retired union Carpenter and I can honestly say Joe is very knowledgeable professional and empathized with his client in that he made sure that I had running water. I liked that he used all brass fittings and was neat and thorough. My only complaint is that I think he does charge commercial charges for a residential homeowner I called a few companies explained the work that was done and after the math I believed I could have saved anywhere from 300.00 to 800.00 dollars. Again tough there is a saying you get what you pay for. Looking back I am very pleased with the work and professionalism however being on disability from 911 I would have liked not having to pay so much. I had to use a credit card and charge the fee. He did guarantee the pump for a year so Again I just wished it didn't cost as much as it did, but I was in a desperate situation as without water you can't even flush a toilet or have water to cook.

Crazy pricing, as several community members have mentioned to me/noted, still, i tried to have them come out and assess the issue. The community members were correct. Joe, is very knowledgeable, at his craft. No doubt about it. However, he is a fast talker and very skilled to coax you into paying double or even triple what the price-tag should be. He also does business in Freehold and same thing there. I can only hope he can take the constructive criticism and make the correct changes, to not take advantage of local community members.(As it would appear.) I have no ill will and wish him nothing but success and prosperity. I'm just speaking from my own experience and sharing the experiences of several locals. With that being said, in these rural places, people need their well water - they have no access to city-water - and i feel he takes advantage of that, knowing he has very little competition in those areas.(It is, what it is.) Would be great if he could lower his prices and be a better asset to the community. I wish them all the best and have no ill will. Just commenting on what many locals know and many say behind the scenes about this company. I must reiterate, Joe is a nice guy and very good at what he does, outside of the crazy pricing, he does a great job. (But, that really doesn't matter, if most people can't afford the services!)
This company price gouges. If you search google for the owner “Joe Fichner Plumbing”, I’ve included a screenshot of the first few results, from the Google search, you will see this company has been to court numerous, numerous times, for charging people ridiculous amounts of money, for a very low level and cheap parts assistance. They actually had to pay tens of thousands of dollars back to Victim‘s they defrauded, in the late 90s and throughout the 2000’s, don’t take my word for it just look it up on Google, it’s public record, from the New Jersey judicial system and businesses bureau, yet they still continue these shady practices to this day. Don’t do business with this place, you’ll just end up losing a ton of money, for a job you could’ve gotten done at a fraction of the price. If you’ve been ripped off by this company, please report them to the NJ businesses bureau, and let the judicial system, help get you your money back. Total scammer as others have said, this guy rips off everybody. He even ripped off House Wives of New Jersey star Amber Marchese! You can't make this stuff up!
I just called for an estimate and the owner did not want the job. He was rude and told me to hire Jenkins because they are cheaper.
