Every time I’m in Crested Butte I stop at Sherpa Cafe for lunch. It’s delicious, fresh and the service is unbeatable. Especially during the pandemic where my international travel has been reduced to zero, it’s beautiful to be transported to a different place even just for a moment. Thank you Sherpa Cafe for the wonderful food!

The Sherpa Cafe is one of my absolute favorite places in Crested Butte and Gunnison. Their entire menu is mouth-watering and soul-warming. I always order garlic naan, Tikka Masala, and momos. The spinach Saag is so good too! Chow Mein is another favorite, and the dahl soup is perfect for a cold winter day. They recently started doing delivery, which is amazing! This Nepalese food is as authentic as it gets, and the staff is superb as well.

The date naan was great and a great deal for 4 (one order is more than enough for two people) but the rest was just meh. Stir fry noodles were mushy and not very flavorful. Curry was nothing special.
