Staff and management were very helpful, inviting and, courteous. The facility had very well established agreements that the staff and management have been able to build upon to make Balmoral a world class equestrian facility. There are plenty of stalls, lots of turnout lots, good camping hookups, and top notch fitting in the arenas. Crete it's a lovely community and the surrounding areas offer plenty of activities to offset downtime from your show schedule.

Visited for Warrior Dash, not for equestrian events so I cannot comment on the horse facilities, but their mud tastes great. The property looks nice, and they have a huge parking lot that was able to facilitate the size of the event and nice lawns to facilitate the vendors.

My wife and I took our two girls 4 & 7 to the Arabian Tail Tour today at Balmoral and we had a great time! The tour guide was very friendly and provided great information. She was great with kids. We were able to speak with some riders and horse owners while we walked around some of the barns. They were all very friendly and they let us pet the horses. It would be nice if there were better signs for parking, admission, seating, food vendors, restrooms, and schedules for horse events posted.

Nice wide aisleways and tries to male accomodations for exhibitors. Huge, so you need a golf cart to get around.

The facility itself is very nice. Big rings with good footing, very nice jumps, good concessions and the office staff was friendly and helpful. It is a large facility with a lot of walking between barns, rings, etc. Take a mini bike, bicycle, or something to cut down on all the walking. You can always rent a golf cart as well. Wish hotels/restaurants were a little closer to the grounds, the immediate area where the facility is located isn’t the nicest, but not horrible.
