If you have any sense at all, you will not shop here. Once they get your money, they could care less what happens to you or your Harley. I had an Ultra, never ridden in the rain or wet, yet under 1,000 miles and 6 months, the chrome on several parts began to peel. Harley denied coverage (without actually seeing the bike) and the dealer certainly wouldn't reach into their pocket or show a little guts. And they wanted me to bring my bike in to have 6,000 of work done. Their service department is pathetic, and if you get your bike back without a new scratch or stripped bolt, you're lucky. I believe they are owned by a former used car dealer, which explains a lot. You're still going to pay a fortune for some schoolkid to change your oil. Do yourself a fa vor and shop at one of the family owned dealers. Schaeffer's in Orwigburg is excellent. Or Schoch's, or Dean's. Just stay away from Crossroads HD. I've owned 8 Harleys, and dealing with Crossroads was the biggest mistake I've ever made. I can't say it enough. Our country is losing the idea that customers should be treated honestly and with respect. CROSSROADS are merely pawns of Harley-Davidson, and when the choice comes down to helping the customer and doing the right thing, or blindly obeying an arbitrary decision from HD, you lose every time. As money gets tight, dropping 20 to 30k on a bike drops lower on the priority list. The days of paying 30 for a 5 T shirt are waning. But that note is still due on that expensive dealership every month, but Crossroads seems to have forgotten that it's customers that pay those notes. UPDATE - Apparently many of the criticisms of Crossroads have proved true as they have now had to shut their doors and close down. In the meantime, much to many's surprise, HD sales and profits are rising.
