Dr. Crutchfield saved my life, by the will of God. I struggled with adult acne for most of my 20s. I went to him and he immediately prescribed treatment. At the time I was a college student and totally broke, and when I explained to him that I would lose my insurance in a few months, he continued to help me and to treat me regardless. I will never forget his kindness. He cured my acne in less than nine months. No other dermatologist in the United States and Canada was able to accomplish anything close to that.The staff was very welcoming and the entire place was incredibly professional. I recommend Dr. Crutchfield to all of my family and friends. It took me a while to write this review, but I want everyone to know how wonderful he is and how amazing his treatments are. I would especially recommend him to a person of color.

He let his nurse practice on me. He left and she came in. She burned my face with the laser and he never cared because I signed that paper before the procedure. They said I had to come in and I lived an hour away and could not miss work again. During the procedure you could see smoke and one of the techs yelled at the nurse to stop. DON'T sign any papers right before the procedure when you are all excited and happy thinking something will go well. Don't go to this man. If you think he will care about you because you are black like him you are wrong. Careful! You should go to ANYBODY else at all white or black who will look you in the eye and talk to you with respect. Anybody who is real and understands that your time and money costs you something.

I have been a patient here for years. Yesterday, I went in for a seemingly simple sun spot removal. The tech burned my skin far above the area that was meant to be treated. I called back to explain that I was developing a blister. She proceeded to request a photo, which was shown to Dr. Crutchfield. He advised I return to pick up cream. I was unable to go back due to my schedule. The tech was supposed to call me back with an alternative treatment suggestion. She did not call back, nor did she provide any guidance on what to expect after the procedure. The blister was nearly the size of a quarter and broke open. I will be reaching out to my primary care physician, as I do not want to end up with infection or permanent scarring. Unreal. I will never return to this place. The general aura of this clinic is “turn and burn.” They don’t care about patients. They want to get them in and out as quickly as possible. I’ve had better customer service at a fast food restaurant. -To clarify, the blister was NOT in the treated area, it was an inch above the treated spot. There was a mistake made by the person who administered the treatment, and no accountability was taken.
