Everyone at MTD was a pleasure to work with from start to finish. When a combination of factors ruined our first try at swimming with the manatees, ownership was quick to offer us a make-good before we were even out of our wetsuits. Morgan at the front desk was patient and accommodating in working with our schedule to book us on a second tour, and Captain Brian and Swim Guide Matt provided us with an exceptional morning with up-close encounters with several manatees. I can't recommend them highly enough. They gave our family the unquestionable highlight of our Florida trip.

Amazing!!! I thought it was going to be scary (a little bit) and uncomfortable (wet suit) but it was GREAT!!! Not scary or cold. Beautiful & fantastic \bucket list\ experience . Swimming right next to the manatees, watch them eat lunch with their babies, the coolest!! Beautiful snorkeling, white sandy & seagrass bottom with lots to mullet and a few shiny tarpon darting about! The best!!
This was a family adventure! Myself, my husband, our 14 year old daughter, and our 4 year old daughter. Alex the guide and Alex the captain were both very informative about the area, the water and the laws. Alex our guide “towed” our 4 year old till she was comfortable! (To a mom, that’s an amazing experience!) Bob in the shop was always happy and ready to tell us great details of the water and the are! Would definitely recommend and will most definitely be returning! Thank you all for absolutely everything!!
Captain Brian and Matt were awesome guides! They didn't even cancel due to rain and cold weather! The water was super clear, saw lots of manatee, and Matt took some great pics to share! We were so thankful for the trip!
DO NOT GET THE CLEAR KAYAKS. They don’t hold a straight line, add NO viewing benefit, and are very poorly designed. The regular doubles are decent but the other rental place generally has nicer kayaks. Both rental places have roughly the same access to the same waterway.
