One of the best art schools in the bay area, my girls attended both classes and camps, and they love both. The school has a dedicated team of professional artist and operation staff. They listened to the clients' feedback and constantly improved the quality of art education and operation. Thank you, Calcolor team.

Both of my kids really enjoyed their calcolor experience. We took regular weekend classes there, as well as summer camps (and in 2020 the private onsite summer camp). My kids kept on wanting to go back to calcolor for more fun and more art. Both of my kids are really creative, in different ways - one enjoys fine detailed drawing and perspectives, one enjoys drawing everything cute. Calcolor instructors/artists was able to use the same drawing project, allowing kids to shine using their creative minds. In fact, we like it so much that we now started private lessons with one of the instructors/artists there.

The teachers are horrible and randomly accuse certain kids of ot trying hard enough\ even though that's not true. The kids are newbies. They just draw, but it might not look good. It's rude to be so direct. Be more patient, teachers! The kids who just start art have to start with the basics, but the beginner class teacher kept scolding some kids for drawing \bad\ even though the kids had no expierience.

My daughter went to the calcolor on-site camp this summer, yes 2020 summer. It was a fantastic experience. The site is clean and the staff is friendly. The kids loved the camp. It's such a privilege being able to attend an onsite camp during this special period. Calcolor offered a great experience that's safe, fun and the kids learned a lot.

My daughter has been attending the Cupertino CalColor for 2 semesters now. She was always interested in drawing and had taken a few art classes in Kindergarten, but going from the after school art classes to CalColor is like going from those old flip phones to a new smartphone. Her art improved quite a bit and she now finds even more enjoyment when she draws and colors. Techniques taught to her in just the last few months have been: shading single/vanishing point perspective layering She loves unicorns and the difference between her pre-calcolor classes and post-calcolor classes is pretty big. Her teacher, Miss Peiju has been extraordinarily patient and accessible. She understands how 6 year old kids can be easily bored and does a great job of both challenging and educating them. Even though there's some homework, its not unreasonable and it gives my daughter an opportunity to show us what she's learned. ) Highly recommended! Only cons I can think of is that its not cheap, but you really do get what you pay for!
