I visited late 1990. The accommodations - less than ideal. The food - flavorless and sparse. The weather was cold and wet for the majority of my stay. My hosts were not at all courteous – occasionally even bordering on loud and demanding. I will say however, they did cordially invite me to extend my stay, for a number of weeks, to welcome the next group of travelers. Despite all, I’ll still give 5 stars for the phenomenal blueberry pancakes.

Since there weren't any reviews, I will chip in w a few comments. Was there in late Nov/ early Dec 1969 as a Ranger class member. Got fingers frostnipped but not as bad as the trench foot/ walking pneumonia in the Jan Fl phase. Part of the Army's greatest leadership school
Rangers, Lead The Way! Well the enlistee that answered the phone was respectfull. I will update if I actually get to ever visit the Base. The fitness centers are closed to anyone that isn't active duty there, so I have not been in person.
