Was able to book a rental for pickup at 8am today. Took a 30 minute Uber ride to get to office. When we arrived we found out that they are not open. No one reached out to cancel rental or notify us we would not be able to pick up the car we reserved.

They rented me a 56 miles to empty rental and they charged me 200 after they put a 50 hold on my card after it was to be paid from Geico insurance company
leah?? or whatever her name is was extremely rude and unhelpful over the phone .. i called to ask about a 300 which I was never told that i was going to get because my insurance company was supposed to be covering everything, also to tell her that I was told a receipt would be emailed to me the day i dropped the rental off but nothing was ever sent to me. then she proceeded to hang up immediately after telling me the “300 charge is for coverage on the vehicle”??? didn’t even explain anything or let me ask any questions she just hung up. Pathetic
I highly suggest investing in a drop box for keys and updating the hours online. Says 6, when In reality it’s 4. Also the front desk lady for the rusty Wallis needs to learn customer service skills. We were told we could leave them with her and she was rude rude rude. The car itself? Trunk was nasty as hell! Save the time and frustration and go with enterprise or alamo or anyone but hertz
I was given an unsafe vehicle with bad tires! I’ve driven this car 2 times on low trips less than 10 miles and have ended up with 2 random flat tires. In which they did not spare tire OR any tools to get the tire off. This place is horrible and inconvenience. It took me over an hour to get road assistance on the phone and then another 3-4 hours for them to get the car towed. DO NOT RECOMMEND!
