I saw Dr. Rahman once as a new patient. I explained my pain. He said if I did not schedule injections immediately he would not prescribe any medication for me. I had not yet met my deductible and it would cost approximately 700. Which would come out of my pocket. I told him I didn’t have the money to do injections right away. It was Christmas time and money was short. So he gave me an ultimatum and I said NO! So I am looking for a new pain management doctor.

I was patient of Dr. Zulqarnain is quiet and mild mannered but I still had problems. I was charged two test requests by MD.135.00 for U/A highly upset for not informing my labs would not be covered. Received bill 6 mounth later after stop going to clinic cost 350.00 for separate times. Never told me my insurance will not cover drug test also wasn't advise not only cup test but have mouth swab.l was charge for a copay when didn't come in and l reschedule. I needed a prior Authorization for a medication the lady didn't send the paper work but lied and said it needed a peer to peer review. Well she didn't realize I did this for a living. This told me she would say anything to patients. I had to stay on top with my plan to ensure it was done. Lastly, I had injection for back pain nerve block, although l wasn't given thorough information about injection until I went to Orthopedic SPECIALIST Dr(NOT PAIN MANAGEMENT) who explain to me more in detail about the procedure done by Dr Zulqarnain. I wouldn't have gotten it required a series of two other injections to be done for to be successful. THIS IS MY EXPERIENCE FOR OTHERS TO BEWARE. OFFICE BEING CLEAN STAFF IS NICE HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH INFORMING PATIENTS ONLY LATER WHEN YOU RECEIVE A BILL FOR NOT COVERED LAB TEST I CAN'T PAY. I WILL NEVER GO TO ANOTHER PAIN MANAGEMENT DOCTOR.

Ive had one other pain doctor since getting tumors in my spine and I ended up coming back to Dr.Z, because he is compassionate, helpful and you dont spend half of the day sitting in waiting room.

I’ve been a patient for 18 months and feel I’ve received the best care I possibly could have for the most part, they do treat you properly. Only one thing I have not agreed with, and I felt my circumstances warranted an exception. They have been loyal to my needs, and I have been equally loyal to their agreements, but sometimes circumstances are out of our control. I was told one thing and it would not be an issue, and then received a reverse decision later in the day. I certainly didn’t agree with the unexpected change of decision, primarily based on my documentation I provided and I believe my loyalty and following instructions as given for 18 months should have been taken into consideration to allow an exception. But to go 18 months without any issues, and then have something I don’t agree with happen, I can’t give anything but a positive review and I’ll certainly continue to be a patient as long as they will allow me too. I would recommend this practice to anyone needing treatment for chronic pain.

Nobody is perfect, and free choice is a blessing always.Happy to see that someone is treated ok here. Maybe I was too interested in care and not a quick fix, but that's just me.
