I have used Valwood Animal hospital for several years now--even before Dr. Hageny. I like Dr. Sherri Edgar as much as Dr. Hageny. She is knowledgeable and has the ability to listen and communicate and work with the patients owner (or in this case, caretaker) to reach a resolution. It is a two-way relationship that we can't always find in the medical field, but is crucial. I'll be going back as often as needed and highly recommend Dr. Sherry. Her staff is equally as friendly and helpful.
This is the most caring team I have encountered. My sweet furbaby had to go to heaven and the staff was so empathetic and helped me through one of the hardest moments. Thank you for your amazing hearts.
Dr. Sherri Egdar is awesome. Dr. Egdar explains everything in detail and listens to our concerns. She cares about my dogs, she notices things on them that I haven't, which tells me she is very detailed oriented when she examines them. Dr. Egdar is caring, patient and overall amazing.
I came in today because my dog hasn’t been doing too well & long story short, it was concluded that it was best for her to be euthanized. It’s an incredibly difficult experience but the staff was extremely empathetic, professional, & they were outstanding. As the doctor was performing the euthanizing process, i was surprised because she herself seemed to be holding back tears..Wow. She had no prior relationship with my dog & this was in fact the first time I’ve ever been to this place and seeing her like that was a clear sign of how much she loves and cares for animals. If you’re looking for a vet that truly loves & is compassionate towards pets/animals, then this is the place. I highly recommend this place & will be personally referring anyone who’s looking for an animal hospital to go here. To the doctor & to the entire staff, thank you from the bottom of my heart for making this incredibly difficult process go as smoothly as possible. Thank y’all for everything!
