Great cabin with beautiful scenery. The cabin is rustic so don't expect hotel quality; you must bring everything you need. The interior cabin is constructed of stained ply board and includes bunk beds with firm mattress covered in plastic; you'll need to bring sheets or a sleeping bag and pillow. There isn't a refrigerator but you can buy ice on the island for your cooler. If, you want electricity you'll need to bring a generator. The cabin has running water, a bathroom, hot shower, gas stove, and a screened porch. Oh, and there is cell service on the island! It's definately worth the trip!

Cape Lookout Ferry and Cabin got me and 1 other vehicle on the Island with a 2 week notice (Incredible short notice).They got me on a late Ferry and even called us to see if we wanted a earlier spot on off island. Cape Lookout not only transported us, but provides us with great information for fishing and provided great fresh bait. The store stayed open late and allowed me inside multiple times so I could buy needed supplies for camping/ Fishing trip. Staff was very Polite and helpful. I will recommend to all my friends

CALO and particularly Mack Best, were a godsend this weekend. My husband has been going to Davis Island for 5 years and always goes with Mack’s ferry service. I went over on the ferry for the first time this week and they were so helpful. Saturday morning my husband woke up feeling unwell, possibly heart related. He called and Mack was able to get him off earlier than planned. That alone was wonderful, but the way that Mack maneuvered everyone on the ferry was remarkable. All we had to do was drive on and Mack would not let my husband lift a finger. They took and physically lifted our camper and moved it so they could fit everyone on. It brought me to tears because I saw people helping people in need and you rarely see that. We will always use Mack’s service from now on. I highly highly recommend Cape Lookout Cabins and Camps!!!

Really a hidden gem, I live 45 mins from the obx and in NENC and I've been to cape lookout a few times. The fishing is great the beaches are nice and sandy (not a lot of shells). Great fun on a side by side or I brought my 4 wheeler. A real get away from reality. We camp right on beach with pop up vehicle tents off the ground, the best way to tent.
