The next restaurant over was more than an hour wait for takeout food and will not very pleasant either. I put my head in the door of Bahama Breeze I found myself greeted by three very pleasant very polite very professional young lady who were only too glad to take my order and assured me that my food would be ready in about 15 minutes. Not only was it ready on time but it was delicious I would highly recommend stopping in I'm seeing the staff at Bahama Breeze and I hope that your experience will be every bit as positive as mine.

You can never go wrong with Bahama Breeze man. Known for their well portioned big plates and caribbean dishes, it's the best! I always go to a particular one so I was hoping this location wasn't gonna disappoint me and it didn't!! :) Didn't take long to be seated and we had a very great and personable waitress. She was so nice and attentive. The food was amazing like always. The establishment is very pretty and love the huge outdoor bar seating area, which we ate. I will say that my Cuban sandwich was not really a Cuban sandwich and it was the first time I ordered it too so I wouldn't order it next time to get my Cuban sandwich fix, it was still very delicious!!! I will stick to my jamaican dishes next time. :)
We have been to this location twice now, and the second time was much much better. Very few people inside so there was no worry about being too close to anyone else and tables are closed in areas for distance. Our waiter was a young man named Anthony and he was great help. He filled our drinks before we could even ask and checked up on us just enough. Food was delicious, giant portions with enough for the next day, and time everything was reasonably priced especially for how big the portions were. Highly recommend.
The COVID19 pandemic is still apparent in the Daytona Beach area. I've been to this restaurant in the past and everything was good. Today it fell a little short. For instance, my soup came warm, not hot and without any crackers or bread. Just a bowl...kinda odd but was very fixable. The soup was tasty when hot. The same kind of thing happened with my sandwich. What I got was ok but my sandwich looked awful bare and lonely on that plate. Not even a pickle or a few chips. So all in all the food was fine but I as a woman left hungry. I don't know why I'm pointing to the virus except for the fact that this is not how I remember this restaurant. Maybe I'll try it again sometime but not soon. Sorry.
Visiting Daytona from Ohio. Our server was super friendly, did a fantastic job. Beef Empanadas appetizer was amazing. I had the Tequila Sunburn Glazed Salmon and I think it was the best salmon I've ever had! Came with sweet potatoes and green beans. My husband had the Crispy Buttermilk Chicken Sandwich since he is allergic to fish, but said he really enjoyed it too. Great place, wish we had one closer to home!
