The area is good for kids; lots of informational signs to teach with and natural areas to play in. The mile long loop is great for some exercise in Aurora with nice scenery and small wildlife.

One of Denver’s hidden gems. Our kids love playing on the natural playgrounds and we all get some exercise walking the mile loop around the lake.

A wonderful place to go for a hike. Two loops of trails, so you can choose a short or a long option. Usually a lot of ducks and geese on the lake.
