I planned my family's ski season around the 5th grade pass. We were excited to branch out and explore different resorts on weekends. After I registered my son, CSCU pulled a bait and switch, changing the 5th grade pass to weekdays only, no holidays, and increasing pricing from 0 to 40. Had I known, I would have just bought our usual season pass, but now it's too late to get early pricing. Completely ruined our ski season.

Planned vacation around the 5th grade pass, and bought 90 dollars worth of Gem passes last season. Super excited then....COVID. 5th grade pass was a bust. Just called regarding GEM passes, and they wont carry my passes for this year. I didn't even want a refund just updated ticket for this season. Not acceptable especially since I had no control of the situation. They were fine to take advantage of us and our MONEY!!! BE careful this year purchasing GEM cards because with COVID who knows if ski resorts will shut down. Super upsetting knowing they are taking advantage of local skiers.

I planned my family's spring break around the 5th grade pass. Last year I bought 60 dollars worth of Gem passes. Super excited then....COVID. So we couldn't use 5th grade pass and I was fine with that, it was free. Just called them regarding GEM passes and they wont carry my passes for this year. I didn't even want a refund just updated pass for this season. There excuse they told me was they are a nonprofit. Whaaaa, so I guess they can take from family's. Be care this year about purchasing GEM cards because with COVID who knows if ski resorts will shut down. Not impressed at all. SUPER LAME!!
