I highly discourage working with Denver Demolition Contractor DBA Lighthouse Construction. I posted this review before but then they changed their name on Google which must be the method for wiping reviews from the record. That ought to tell you enough. If for some reason you still choose to work them, learn from my bad experiences with Lighthouse and do the following to protect yourself: 1 - Amend their contract to require quality checks and dispute resolution for work done in the home. 2 - Ask to view the current licenses and insurance for the business and all individual employees. 3 - Ask for invoices stating in detail what work has been completed prior to giving a progressive payment. 4 - Prior to giving any payment, ask for a printed statement defining what that payment will cover for the next steps of the project. 5 - Be very specific in the scope of work so all materials quoted are provided during the project. 6 - Do not provide payment until outlined stages in the contract are completed. 7 - Any timeline provided for a project phase or the project as a whole - triple it. 8 - Take photos of everything and manage all communication via email Instead of having to go through all of this with a company you pay to provide you with a service, save yourself the headache and instead hire a professional who will do these things as part of their regular business practices.
