Also called City or Kiddie Park, this is kind of a 2 for 1 park. From the 21st Ave side, a nice grassy area with a small playground in the middle. Playground has what looks like remnants of something - not sure what - and your standard stairs, slides, climbing thing structure. No seating but plenty of space for blankets. This access point is in a subdivision and parking is what can be found on the street. The set up feels like it's a space meant most for those who live within the subdivision/nearby. No dedicated park parking spots There's a trail down into the creek/stream bed area with a bridge that leads into an open field area with a single picnic table. You can access this from Kent Des Moines Road as well. This area was recently cleaned up but on our visit we saw some dumped stuff down there unfortunately but not too bad. It's definitely a cool space with huge old maple trees. It was kind of a bummer not to see anyone else using the space, especially with so much single and multi family housing surrounding it. Cons: the planes are really low here, no seating around the play area, and there's very limited parking. It would be a really cool space but likely gets underutilized due to the lack of parking. Looking forward to seeing what the future has in store for this park!
