One star seems too high but it’s the lowest the review format will let me go. I had fraudulent, retaliatory charges filed against me which the state still decided to pursue since they didn’t look at the case until I was sitting behind them in the courtroom. The amount of gross negligence paired with disorganization makes this place the absolute worst. It’s not worth getting a pricate attorney since the state won’t respond to them in a timely manner and the public defenders office is pretty much next to the states attorneys office. What investigation doesn’t collect evidence and then requests a postponement IN COURT in order to collect the evidence they should have had from when a person filed charges. On top of all of this if I wish to have these charges expunged/shielded I would need to pay more money and have another hearing for shielding. In the face of clear exculpatory evidence the court decided to make a decision with their best interest in mind to save fave instead of looking at the evidence at hand, the judge literally never saw any facts of the case and didn’t seem interested.
