I just read their response to my wife’s review. We were told 4-6 weeks after 10 weeks I called them and they said they had to find the order. A week later I called them and they said it would be in in three weeks at that point my wife didn’t want to do business with them. I convinced her to give them another chance. They called and told us it was in then called back and said it was damaged and they would call us back that night or first thing in the morning. Again we had to call them. We were told they would not have anyone to talk to until Tuesday. We asked for Ann who could not contact the vendor and we decided to cancel. She was not professional. We like to shop local and would have been very accepting if they would have communicated with us. Their response says they told us 12 weeks, not the case. My best advice is be honest with your customers. I have seen multiple people making similar reviews lately for DJ’S.

i ordered and received a spa from DJ's. 11 months later (still under my one year warranty) i called them and said that my breaker keeps getting tripped when my heater kicks in. they said they would come out and check things out at no charge since it was still under warranty. they came out and found that i had a bad breaker. i bought one from a local place and installed it myself. 2 months later DJ's send me a bill for 149.00 for the service call. I explained to them that they told me everything regardless how big or small was covered. they said my warranty is only good for a year and sent me another invoice for the 149.00. two issues: one, is they lied to me telling me everything was covered and never once telling me that there might be a service charge. And two, 149.00 when they didn't do a thing.

Caught the wrong salesman, he wouldn’t even give a suggestion or any assistance. Went back and spoke with someone else on a different day who was more than willing to assist. If you get the right person they are pretty helpful here.

Gave them one star because in order to review you have to give them at least one star. They truly deserve zero. Went in to the Monticello DJs to look at hot tubs. We called later and ordered their top model hot tub paid in full over the phone. We were quoted 4-6 weeks for delivery. Called back after 10 weeks of not hearing anything from them and told they had to find our order. They said that they would call us back. We called back multiple times before they answered the phone after again not hearing from them and we’re told 3 more weeks. Then, two weeks later we received a call saying that they could deliver Friday. A couple hours later received a call saying our hot tub arrived damaged and they didn’t know when we’d get a new one. We were again told we’d get an update by the next day and again never received a phone call and had to call them repeatedly because they wouldn’t answer their phones. Finally, after getting a hold of someone they said that they weren’t who we needed to talk to and they’d have her call back. Finally, Ann called and said that she couldn’t control her employees, she couldn’t do everything, and that she was upset that it came broken too. We were upset due to the lack of communication, customer service, and a broken hot tub we just paid over 8,000 for. As a manager she had zero accountability. She charged us a 3% credit card fee (almost 300) even though we received nothing except bad service, a run around and now have to wait 8 weeks for a new hot tub from somewhere else because they couldn’t follow through or communicate. We never signed a contract so I’m not even sure that legally this was legit. Very thoroughly disappointed in the whole experience and they will never get our business again.
