Toured GK factory this summer. Very impressive! Had no idea where or how large machinery was made. Very clean facility and knowledgeable staff. Their focus is for quality products and completion of orders on time (and usually within very short time frames). And...a company who wants top quality workers but also cares about their employees and customers. Great job, GK!!

I have toured the facility before and after the expansion. They run a top notch lean manufacturing process. They are very interested in employing local highly skilled workers. They specialize in working with anyone for any need. They have done projects like tow trucks, GPS driven tractors, trail clearing tractors, massive protable heating systems, etc. They are not a mass production facility, rather they specialize in low volume customized work. They are in constant need of hard-working, drug-free employees. They are growing significantly and want to keep manufacturing jobs in the U.S. They have also developed software for job tracking purposes that is amazing. Each job can get bid down to the second Their factory is huge after the expansion a few years ago. They have paint booths that can accomodate very large vehicles and holding tanks. They also do smaller projects like barbeque restoration (Traeger in this case). They participate in education programs like the South Metro Salem STEM hub and really reach out to the community. One of the attractions that they have is their very own 5 engine tractor puller. It really puts out the horsepower and shows that they know how to build a strong frame that is lightweight. I really like going through the facility and seeing what they are capable of.
There is a weezle at the front desk named Tom. Tom likes to insult people, thinks he is better than everyone. Tom tries to get delivery drivers fired. Tom failed, but I thought people should know about Tom, the weezle.
As a business owner, I have GK laser cut a lot of parts I manufacture, and when completed, I take my units in for powder coating. Always a great job and fast turn around time!
