I truly appreciated Doug McDonald and his kindness managing these buildings. He was always accommodating of anything anyone needed - if it was possible. He was never rude in any way. I do not know why all other management companies are not this way. So many people who have power use it against others. I believe that he must live by the Golden Rule. Wish I could say the same thing about the person who used me to get a condo in there. We worked together and I found her to be very professional. When she confided in me that she did not have a place to live and her car kept breaking down - I tried to help her by finding this unit so she could walk to work. I felt good about helping, even paying every deposit necessary as well as the rent up front - and all the monthly utilities for the past three years. She made my life a living hell re reimbursing me - and just being mean to me. I feel that she was angry because she needed the help. Everything was a battle - even to the extent of holding onto a portion of the security deposit returned & the final FPl bill I agreed to pay. Doug returned the HOA deposit to me immediately which made up for her meanness and offered to do anything he could to help make her happy. God has a way of putting angels in our pathway and giving us peace, even from people who have no appreciation for your kindness. All is good!! I look at the money I lost as tithing. I try my best to help others when I can because that is part of our purpose for being born. I do not intend to stop being kind to others no matter how often it comes back to hurt you. My blessings have been coming back to me many times over. No matter what I pray for God has been answering my prayers. Do not think twice about buying or renting a place that Doug manages. He is the gift from God who comes with your sale or lease.
