Downey community hospital will always live with the same name you cannot erase history, this hospital saved my life on Sept 23 1989 I was involved in a very serious life threatening car accident where I dislocated my right hip and suffered with a broken neck I broke 5 vert in my neck between Dr Deere Dr Swanson and God ,as well as the wonderful nurses and staff I would recover I want to thank you all for all the extra time of life. Wife came here instead of Beverly because they did not give us a wait time at all. She was in a room, seen, and had pain medicine within 35 minutes of arriving. Amazing!

My mother and sister both developed covid pneumonia late december and the treatment and attention they received was amazing. The attention and treatment we received as a family by the covid floor and ICU nurses and doctors, everyone in general was beyond our expectations! They were all very patient with us, we bugged ALOT and asked waaay too many questions every day and they always helped. They helped us with zoom meetings, answered all our questions so basically cant complaint on the excellent attention they provided to my loved ones.

Hospital is actually really great.. Don’t know why they got negative reviews... I live in Hollywood but I was in the area and I started getting pain in my chest. And I rushed to the first hospital... This hospital is quick, triage nurses are cool. Everyone is great, My doctor Dan Tran in the ER was GREAT, compassionate, asked me questions, asked where my pain was at. Was very informative on everything he asked me .... Great emergency room doctor. He made me feel like he actually cared and provided me with exceptional service ! Great job hiring this man...
