Ian walks the walk and talks the talk. He’s not just a drummer, but a musician. Not only does he understand drums as an instrument, but he’s able to articulate and connect with his students. I’ve been playing for a few years on my own, and in a very short time Ian’s been able to help identify and fix the bad habits I’ve picked up. You can tell he really loves what he does, and he does it well. His insights on drums, drummers, and playing musically exude through the lessons he teaches. I look forward to working with Ian and having him help me get to where I’d like to be behind the kit—not just becoming a better drummer, but a better musician.
