Pediatric Endocrine Specialists of Georgia is rated 3.5 out of 5 in the category endocrinologist in United States. We are an outpatient medical practice that specializes in pediatric endocrine disorders. Our office is located in Duluth, GA. Please visit our website at www.PESGA.org to learn more about us. At Pediatric Endocrine Specialists of Georgia, our mission is to improve access to high quality pediatric subspecialty care. With this in mind, in 2011 Dr. Bernard left his academic appointment and research laboratory to establish a new medical practice. He wanted to provide the same cutting-edge care he had provided as a professor at Washington University in St. Louis and the Medical College of Georgia. However, he wanted to do so in a private practice setting where the focus would be on providing a superior experience for the patient from start to finish. Dr. Bernard is known to be a strong advocate for his patients and his field. His research endeavors have advanced medical knowledge in his field. In addition, he educates physicians, teachers, school nurses, and other members of the community about endocrine disorders. This includes giving continuing medical education lectures to fellow pediatricians highlighting current management practices in pediatric endocrinology. We are proud of the success we have achieved, and we will continue to improve the quality of your patient care experience. We will always place your child’s interests first, and we believe that the family should be involved in the decision-making. Every aspect of your child’s care will be clearly explained, and you should never feel “lost” or confused about the reasons for our medical decisions.

My children and I have been seeing Dr Reddy for a long time and we had also seen Dr Bernard briefly and I’m absolutely pleased with both of them . They spend a lot of time with their patients ,listening and answering all of their questions in details. The front office staffs are friendly and efficient. The office too is very clean .Although ,sometimes the wait can be long , and I do think that is because the providers are so thorough and meticulous. I would recommend their practice without thinking twice.

If you have insurance (like most people) you are probably fine. If you are self paying for your medical care like I am, get ready for surprises! We have been going there for about 5 years. 3 years ago I started my own business, and when we asked what the office visit charge was, we were told 190. That went well for a while until Dr. Bernard decided to , without previous warning, start charging an additional 50 for reading the CGM We paid it and decide to, going forward, bring a piece of paper with his glucose readings, in order to avoid the 50 additional fee. This worked for a while until after last month when, out of the blue, Dr. Bernard decided to implement an additional 50 charge for reviewing the CGM data after the patient has left the office. Does anyone even imagine this happening? I called the office to inquire about this. Ray said he would call me back the next day, I called two days after and he said that he “had not had a chance to speak to the doctor” (sounds to me like he just forgot), and committed to calling me back the next day, which did not happen. Even worse, I did not hear at all from him until I called him two weeks later upon receiving a statement, showing that the fee was still there. On both occasions, even though there was no previous notice, they were unwilling to do a one-time courtesy adjustment. What will they think of next? Who knows, but I will not be here to find out. Moving to a different pediatric endocrinologist for my son. As for the fee, I will end up paying it but will wait for the collections company to contact me. That office will not get more money from me.

Nurse Ann is so personable and thorough. The woman at check out was extremely rude. Never made eye contact, just handed us our school excuse & continued on with her work. No thank you, no have a good day, no good bye... nada. Probably shouldn’t be working with the public.

Do not go to this clinic! I took my son to this to have some tests run. The test wasn't covered by insurance, so I had to pay out of pocket. I was assured from Dr. Bernard that the amount was fixed and I would only have to pay that amount. He said that sometimes people would receive a bill, but just to call them up and they would take care of it. Several months passed then out of the blue, I received a bill. I called and was told that they would take care of it. I didn't receive a bill so I thought that it was taken care of. Then, I received another bill. I called again and told them that I was told that they would take it off. They said that they would take care of this. I didn't receive a bill for months. Then I received another bill out of the blue. I called again and was given the same message that they would take care of it. This happened like 4 o4 5 times. I received the last bill in January and they told me that we were going to have to pay it. This practice lies! DO NOT GO TO THIS CLINIC!
