Patient experience starts before you walk through the door. The receptionists treated me as if she she did not want to take my son as a new patient. She was not helpful, told me to call insurance for verification or my HR to get group numbers since I did not have a card. In all my years of having insurance I have not ever received a dental insurance card. She was condescending and rude. I would think that insurance verification would be apart of her job description. I told her I have never been asked to do this before, she told me it was okay I could call her back after I had the information. I told her it was okay, I have choices and I choose to take my business else where. I told her I was referred by another dentist she said, I don't know who that dentist is, I've never heard of them. Well, did you ever think that maybe the dentist you work for knows her? I'm sure the dentist is lovely, unfortunately we didn't get that far.

I have 4 adult children ages 18-26. Each of my children were pediatric clients of Dr. Barefield. We found Dr. Barefield and her staff to be very polite and highly professional. Their services were administered in a pain-free manner. Additionaly, their fees are very affordable! :)

My children receive excellent care and truly enjoy their dental visits. The office and Dr Donna seem to truly love kids and what they do. And in doing so, they have transformed a trip to the dentist (which can induce angst in most adults) into a fun and enjoyable outing.
