Beautiful and vast! Exceptionally well-kept native prairie and wetlands, representing the best of Illinois's natural landscapes. An excellent stop for birders, especially for sparrows and waterfowl. Next time we pass through the area, my wife and I will certainly be visiting again, as it's just a quick jog off the freeway.

A peaceful place to enjoy nature. Walk your dog, walk with your family or walk alone. This property has open vistas of rolling prairie and wetlands and is home to many bird species that migrate along the Fox River Watershed. The shelter at the Boncosky Rd. has nice picnic tables and a port a potty too.

Great place to walk around or have a picnic. Open prairie with a couple of ponds for fishing. You can enjoy a quick walk in the Prarie, bird watching or go further into the woods for a longer walk.
