We went flying for my boyfriend's 41st birthday and from start to finish, this was an awesome experience! It was so much FUN!! Shawn and his wife made us feel comfortable and safe. We will definitely be back to fly again!!!

Being completely new to the sport i went online to usppa website to find a certified instructor and found Shawn. He had an option to be able to train w/o buying equipment. this was a big plus for me not knowing anything about all the different brands and options. As far as training I couldn't have been happier with my choice. He knew just the right time when I was ready for the next step. My 1st flight naturally I was nervous but he was on the radio walking me right through it all! you can tell he truly enjoys teaching people this sport. He never pushed me to purchase a paramotor from him, but after training I did purchase one!

In September I took his Discovery flight and fell in love with the sport. And a week later I went all in and bought all the gear I needed from Shawn and paid for leasons. He has been Patient with me finding the time to attend the leassons and has builds my confidence in making my dream of flight a reality. He is passionate and knowable of the sport and that shows in his instruction. He has and sells great and safe equipment and I recommend him to anyone I know or meet.
Hands down best training around southern oklahoma and north Texas. Extremely professional and full shop for all your equipment needs. I have attempted other schools in the past but this is hands down the place to go. Shawn is very fun to learn from and even has a tow unit and ability to do tandem flights. Very affordable compared to any other form of flying and very safe, give them a call and start flying now!

Flight, once a dream, now a reality! Since I was very young, I have always been fascinated with flight, but flying was not something I ever thought would be possible. Then, while driving home one day, I look up and see a powered paraglider (PPG) in this sky and began to investigate! I reached out to Shawn Elder with Paramotor Flyers, and he invited me out to the field to see what PPG was all about! After seeing Shawn and some others in the sky, I thought just maybe I could do that... again dreaming. Fast forward 2 years later, I was able to sign up for training! Let me tell you I was very anxious, and at first, I asked Shawn several times if he thought I was cut out for this? He was always calm and reassuring, which helped me overcome my anxious feeling. Now, I have finished training and can fly on my own. If you are looking to get into this sport, we have a great training location and school in Durant, Oklahoma.
