I rented a 25' five person RV for nine days and about 1800 miles. We had three adults sleeping in it over the course of that time and were pleased with the experience. Overall, the truck performed quite well. It was a slightly higher mileage truck (130K miles) but it was delivered clean (if not a little worn in spots) and the mechanicals all functioned as expected. However, the truck's age / mileage did rear its head in the form of a leak in the roof one night. Additionally, the cab / cabin seal needed some attention but caused no major problems other than some squeaking and allowing some air and the occasional road gnat in while driving. While the roof leak was extremely annoying as it was happening over my bed at 1AM, I'm willing to let Cruise America off the hook for it-- we sat through two rain storms during the trip and the roof didn't start leaking until the second, so I don't feel that it was an issue of neglect, just dumb luck. The real star of this experience, though, was Dana at the Lakeland, TN Cruise America location. She was incredibly helpful and resolved the situation to my satisfaction without any fuss whatsoever. She takes pride in maintaining her trucks and providing prompt and friendly customer service. I would not hesitate to work with her again as she made every effort to ensure that our experience was positive from start to finish.
