I am appalled with my experience with this Vermont clinic. I made the agonizing and difficult decision to put down my 16 year old cat. They said they could euthanize him but would need to do an exam first. I figured this was a formality so agreed. I drove him to the clinic in tears and handed him over to the technician for the exam, preparing myself to hold him in my arms as he passed. I received a call from “Doctor T” 5-min later saying she did not feel comfortable euthanizing him so refused to do so. So they returned my cat AND charged me 60 for a 5-min exam. I was beyond angry that she thought she knew what was best for my cat, not knowing his background or my current living situation, just because she was a doctor. Well, I too am a Doctor of genetics and there is NO way I would presume to tell my students what they should or shouldn’t do. Please heed my story and go somewhere else, where they treat their clients with more understanding and sympathy.

There are no words to describe how wonderful the staff here are. They made or most difficult time with our pretty as easy as possible.
I've come here for a while with my reptiles (unfortunately the exotic vet is retiring January :( ) but absolutely incredible. Very kind and caring. The one time I went to put down my mouse, they were extremely kind and compassionate towards my feelings, even if it was just a baby mouse and not a dog or such.
I've lived in the area my entire life, I have friends and family that recommended me to this vets office... But after about a year of having vt,nh my primary clinic and needing to drain my bank accounts after every visit, all I can say is it's a shame this place is still open and billing people double sometimes triple the amount its don't anywhere else. This office is only in it for the money, from my experience I can confidently say I don't believe they care about the animals they're caring for, they're all there for a paycheck and that's it. There are plenty of vets in the area with SUPERIOR expertise, much better bed side manor for worried and mourning pet owners, for a FRACTION of the price. By far the worst vets office I've ever brought my pets to. Please if you care about your animals, do not go here! It's heartbreaking and shameful!
I cannot say enough good things about this place. I love it and so does all 4 of my fur babies!
