Have never had anything but positive interactions with the Freetown Police. Always a friendly group of people to deal with.

After a young lady from the 1 Mason Rd Dunkin Donuts in Prime gas station in E. Freetown, Ma text vulgar things to my husband on his personal cell phone a argument insues and temperatures rise. This young lady and my husband argued back and forth her saying she was going to send her brother to are home to kick his butt and him saying he was going to slap her. This young lady sent two Freetown police officers to are home. The officers were invited in. The officers explained that this young lady did not want to prosue charges mind you they said nothing about her threat. I then came out of our bedroom and explained that this young lady was texting my husband on his personal cell phone while she's there at work and this is harassment and agenst the law. This was all over spilled coffee beans left from the previous person working and had nothing to do with my husband but she took it out on him and is well know for being rude to both customers and employees. For this reason was transferred from across the street to this Dunkin. The officers then stated that they this is not true that they get calls from work on there personal phones all the time and kept repeating that charges were not going to be brought agenst him. I then looked up the law after they left. It stated that it is up to the employee if they wish to provide there cell phone number because without permission it is a breach of privacy. I think that because this is a small town some things are over looked and may not be attended to correctly and if someone from said small town say's something or wants to make people aware that retaliation is insued. I hope this is just the product of being overwhelmed and not uninterested.
