I just had yet another great experience at this location. I’ve been here numerous times every single time there’s election is great they’re pricing is great their customer service is exponentially flawless and today was no different. The young lady who greeted me at the door was very pleasant she introduced me to a young lady by the name of Sam who was able to help me exactly with what I needed everything was taken care of and I was back on my way within minutes. I know we’re in a time right now where we’re all worried about different things and we were a year ago but it’s still nice to be able to go to a store and still get that customer service experience while still being fully within guidelines and totally safe and protected.

Not a bad store, but it is February and they are sold out of most winter things. Like women's boots are gone. They had some other stuff, but it was slim picking. I guess this is due to the East actually having a real winter for the first time in years.
Fair prices. Great selection and quality gear that's cheaper than the surrounding stores in the area. I can't thank the staff enough for being super knowledgeable and friendly. I felt welcome and comfortable when asking for recommendations and advice. They weren't just pushy sales people. You can tell the staff really knows what they're talking about because they talk from real experiences. I would definitely come back and recommend!
Love REI and this is one of the best around. If you like getting outdoors and need some gear, make sure you stop by this REI. There are a few REIs around Northern NJ, but this store seems to have one of the best selections. They also layout the store like a department store where you can go to the sections you need. Some outdoor stores are like a treasure hunt to find anything. They also have experts in multiple areas. They can help you with a car rack, or tell you what you need to start climbing. Great staff and a great store.
