Food was good, but expect to wait for it. They have a pager, so you can shop as you wait. Beef stew had good flavor, portion size was also good. Tried the fried chicken wings, overpriced and disappointing. Pad Thai has a little kick. Pineapple fried rice was good, but a little more pineapples would be nice.

The staff here just stare at you until you are ready to order. They do not greet you at all or thank you for buying the food. The fried calamari was disgusting. It was mushy and had way too much salt and made me want to vomit. This was a horrible experience.

We were surprised to find that this is not a restaurant, but a food court option inside 99 Ranch Market (in the same complex as the Home Depot in Hackensack, right near the Shops at Riverside). Food is made to order, so expect a little bit of a wait. They give you a buzzer to signal you when your food is ready. There's a public seating area right next to Penang Street, and a few other food court options. I had the Drunken Noodles, which were enjoyable, although not the best I've ever had. They were a bit on the dry side, otherwise the mixed-in ingredients made them flavorful enough. The shrimp was of surprisingly good quality. Chicken Satay was also good, with a decent peanut sauce as well as some vegetables at the bottom of the dish. Prices were a bit on the high side, but not unreasonable. Food portions were generous. Overall it was an interesting experience, and I'd give it another go. Bonus was that you had free reign of a large Asian market, as the food court is within the Asian market.

Enjoyed the W1 or menu's top choice in noodles. Little spicy and good mix of veggies and seafood. Good seating area and other food court options as well.

Good place for Malaysian style snacks and desserts. On our last visit they had run out of the Roti and containers for the hand rolled ice cream, but we still got the ice cream anyway. The Chili Basil Popcorn Chicken was really great tasting and not too spicy or greasy. ABC Halo Halo was refreshing.

The Penang White Curry Laksa (asked for extra spicy) was very good with nice spiciness. Friend got some meat and rice dish for 10 but it was very small and plain and not worth the price. Setting is low quality food court.

Took forever to get the food, after getting, it didn’t match the description in the menu, we waited few more mins to get sprouts in our pad Thai and finally when food was ready to eat, it was not spicy as requested. Total waste of time and money

Had a good experience in this place with my wife. The food was served quick and the service is just great. Prices are reasonable.
