Let me start with a huge thanks to John. We got to the store an hour before closing, I thought an hour would be fine but boy was I wrong. So many choices, sizes, colors etc.. John was so kind and patient with my 10 y/o daughter. He was very knowledgeable and made sure EVERYTHING fit. So fast forward an hour and a half past closing everytime I apologized for keeping him late he assured me he was ok and wanted the best experience for my family. I never felt rushed (even though he should have been home) I'm happy with my equipment purchased for the 3 divers in my family. He gave us tips and advice only an experienced diver could offer. We have some more items to purchase but I had to draw the line and let him go home (lol). We will go back on a Saturday so we don't keep him late again. With all that said John's compassion has made us return customers for life. As a side note the prices were great so why not shop local!!

Scuba Diving can be scary , and there is a lot that goes into it that isn’t shown in the movies. Frank’s Underwater Sports took scuba diving from foreign and scary to fun and familiar , all without never once making me feel bad for asking questions both in class and outside of class. Frankie and his son are easily the best at what they do and it shows in the passionate way they engage with you. I’m glad I got to meet them and excited to continue my journey, if you are thinking about learning how to dive , this is the only place I would recommend.

Extremely helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable! Been diving for years and now my 10 year old son is going to learn and he needed a mask..... Salesman spent an exceptional amount of time to make sure he got the perfect fit... Above and beyond what was expected. Highly recommend this place!!

I would and have recommended Frank’s to everyone! I had such a great experience and Frankie was so flexible to work with my weird schedule. They’re very committed to making sure you’re as prepared as possible for diving, I can’t recommend enough!

I first became a certified diver 34 years ago when Frank Best Thompson owned the business. At that time Frank's was known as the premier dive shop both for the quality of their instruction and the practical advice they so freely gave. Frank's U/S stressed the science and safety practices needed to make recreational SCUBA a lifelong activity. Recently my son decided to become a diver and since I had not done any diving in a few years I decided to retake the beginners level class with him. The shop is now owned and managed by Mr. Thompson nephew, Frank Campbell, who was involved in my original class. Nothing has changed in the philosophy or commitment of the shop. During our pool dives, which Frank conducted himself, there were several other instructors on hand. The safety aspect was very well covered and those that needed assistance were mentored by the additional instructors present. Every thing is presented in a clear, concise manner. You are told the Why along with the How and When. When you understand the Why, the rest is easier to understand. Frank's sells many different brands of gear, with products that can accommodate those on a budget to high end gear for those that desire that level of performance. It is obvious in dealing with them that both Frank and his son, John, are blessed to be in a business they thoroughly enjoy and want others to enjoy as well.
